Privacy at MyVistaHome
Your home information stays under your control.
Effective 29 August 2026 · This policy explains the current pilot platform. It should be reviewed by qualified Indian legal counsel before commercial launch.
Information we collect
Account details such as your name, email address or mobile number; project details such as location, property type, rooms, measurements and budget preference; photographs, plans, AI concepts and references you upload or save; professional application and portfolio information; communications, consent choices and service activity; and limited technical information needed for security and reliable operation.
Why we use it
We use this information to authenticate your account, save your home projects, provide AI-assisted visual concepts, prepare design briefs, match a request with eligible professionals, deliver VistaCalc quotations, moderate professional content, prevent misuse and improve reliability. AI concepts are inspiration only and do not set professional prices, quantities or construction measurements.
Your home photographs and plans
Customer uploads are private by default. We use them to provide the feature you request and do not publish them as inspiration or portfolio content without a separate, explicit publication choice. A professional receives a project brief only when you select that professional or enter through that professional’s private invitation.
AI processing
When you request an AI feature, the relevant image, references and instructions may be sent to an AI infrastructure provider solely to produce the requested output. We record operational information such as provider status and credit use. MyVistaHome does not treat an AI concept as a construction drawing, measurement verification or quotation.
Professional and public content
Professionals must confirm that uploaded portfolio media is owned or properly authorised. Public profiles, articles and portfolio submissions are reviewed before publication. Contact details are displayed only according to the professional’s settings and the customer’s journey.
Sharing and service providers
We share only what is needed with infrastructure, storage, authentication, email, analytics and AI providers acting for the service. Selected professionals receive the approved brief and only receive your direct contact details when you permit it. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect users and the platform.
Website analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 on customer-facing pages to understand page visits, navigation and feature usage. The implementation requests IP anonymisation and does not run inside the administration workspace. Google may process device, browser and usage information according to its own service terms. Analytics identifiers are not used to reveal your project brief or private home photographs to professionals.
Location
You may enter a PIN code or permit the browser to provide a current location. Location is used to confirm the project area and find professionals within the radius you choose. You can correct the location before sending a request. We do not silently share live location with professionals.
Retention and security
We retain information while your account or project is active and for a reasonable period needed for support, security, legal obligations and dispute handling. We use access controls, private storage, moderation and activity records, but no internet service can promise absolute security. Retention periods will be refined as production infrastructure and statutory requirements are finalised.
Your choices and rights
You may review and correct project information, withdraw optional contact sharing, remove saved references, request account or project deletion, and raise a privacy grievance. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already lawfully completed and may prevent features that need that information from working.
Children
MyVistaHome is intended for adults planning a property project. We do not knowingly invite children to create accounts or upload personal information.
Privacy requests and grievances
A dedicated privacy and grievance contact must be configured before public launch. Until then, the pilot does not publish an invented officer name or contact address.
